My Story
Director of Commercial Real Estate, Thomas Webb is also the principal of Blackwater Capital, a Florida based private equity firm. He is responsible for acquisition, financing, and development oversite within the company.
In his tenure, Mr. Webb has managed over 5 Million square feet and over $1.5 Billion of commercial real
estate properties including hotels, apartments, retail, office and industrial properties through the Southeastern US. Mr. Webb comes from a background in real estate finance and acquisitions management where he held roles in both private equity funds and family office organizations.
He is actively engaged with high-net-worth individuals, family offices and private investment
funds looking for diversified opportunities. Mr. Webb is a regular speaker for Family Office conferences
throughout the country where he discusses real estate market trends, best practices and value creation
opportunities.
In pursuit of continuing education, he has earned the accreditation of Certified Commercial
Investment Manager (CCIM) through the CCIM Institute. He continues to be an active member in the
local real estate community while contributing to groups such as ULI, NAIOP, ICSC and University of
Florida’s Bergstrom Center of Real Estate Studies. He currently is current ambassador for the Family
Office Networks and Florida Alternative Investment Association.
Prior to his current endeavors, Mr. Webb worked with prominent real estate managers Stiles
Corporation ($1.5 Billion AUM) and Terracap Management ($2 Billion AUM). As a native of Rhode Island,
he attended Providence College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He
continued his education at the University of Florida and received a Master’s degree in Real Estate
Finance.
